About Bob Turcotte Yacht Design

Bob Turcotte Yacht Design designs yachts that have a contemporary look using modern day technology in the Down East Tradition. We have experience with many boats including sail and power as well as sail and power catamarans.
We offer design services ranging from the preliminary designs through the construction with project management. We do 3D modeling for CNC molds and also weight studies and lofting. Services for builders and consultation on the building processes are available. We also offer surveying for insurance companies.

Bob Turcotte has over 25 years of boat building and design experience. This includes yachts and commercial passenger and fishing vessels mostly in Maine. Bob has also worked as the project manager for a number of reputable custom boat builders. Bob is a 1982 graduate of The Boat School in Eastport, ME. He is currently studying at the Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology in Edgewater, MD.
